Why has Steve Jobs' death hit everyone so hard?
I've been wondering about this, and apparently I'm not the only one. Steve's death hit me much harder than I expected it to. For me (an entrepreneur and technologist), it feels like someone killed Superman. He completely changed several industries through the sheer force of his will, vision, brilliance, energy, and resilience. He was the absolute ultimate entrepreneur. All reason said that pancreatic cancer has got to kill you, but it just felt like a guy like that shouldn't be mortal. Especially that mortal. So it kinda feels like living in a world that just lost it's only super hero.
